Do you have a tooth with such a deep cavity that the nerve is exposed? Or is it severely damaged in some other way?
If so the dentist may recommend a root canal to try to save the tooth instead of pulling it and replacing it with a bridge or an implant.
Root canal treatment is the process of trying to save a dying tooth by repairing and cleaning out damaged nerve systems. This is an attempt to save the natural tooth if possible instead of extracting it.
To prevent tooth loss and needs for dental implants, more than 14 million people undergo root canal therapy each year to help save their natural teeth.
Root canals are performed using advanced techniques and materials, making them far more comfortable and faster than they used to be.
Have you been considering a smile makeover but don’t know where to start? Whether you have gaps and stains, or you have trouble pinpointing exactly what you’d like to change about your smile, we can help with porcelain veneers.
What are porcelain veneers? They are a rapid, aesthetic, and safe way to correct unattractive front teeth. We can remake your smile with porcelain veneers.
Porcelain veneers are thin shells of ceramic material that can be chemically bonded directly to the front and top surfaces of your natural teeth to cover cosmetic flaws, such as stains, cracks, chips, and gaps. They can also cover teeth that are broken, irregularly shaped, or misaligned.
Porcelain veneers can rejuvenate your smile—and the process won’t require multiple procedures or too many hours out of your busy schedule. In many cases, your dazzling new smile can be obtained in only two visits. After assessing your oral health and determining your viability for porcelain veneers, we will discuss the details with you.
Do you snore or have sleep apnea? If you can’t tolerate a CPAP machine an oral mandibular advancement appliance can be made for you to alleviate those issues. Oral appliances (OAs) can be used in patients with primary snoring or mild obstructive sleep apnea. A medical sleep study is required before an oral mandibular advancement appliance can be inserted in your mouth.
Once you call your physician who can arrange a sleep study for you, we will be happy to schedule you in for a consult regarding an appliance.
Unfortunately, sometimes teeth have to be removed from your mouth. We can help with the removal of those teeth as quickly and painlessly as possible.
Do you wake up with a headache of jaw pain? Do you clench or grind your teeth a night? You may need a night guard, also called an occlusal splint. It is made of clear plastic and fits over the biting surfaces of the teeth of one jaw so that you bite against the splint rather than your teeth. This often helps your jaw joints and muscles to relax.
Bridges
Is there a gap in your teeth when you smile or laugh? Do missing teeth affect your speech? Have you ever wondered if there is a solution? A dental bridge might be the answer.
A dental bridge is a fixed appliance and is an excellent way to replace missing teeth. Bridges are restorations that fill in a gap caused by missing teeth. They prevent the remaining teeth from shifting and provide a more stable surface for chewing. Dental bridges are highly durable and will last many years.
Bridges consist of artificial teeth and crowns, which are ‘caps’ that go over the teeth on both sides of the bridge and serve as anchors to stabilize the bridge. Traditional bridges are usually made from porcelain fused to metal or ceramics.
Dental Crowns
As a trusted dentist, we offer crowns for cosmetic and restorative purposes so that our valued patients can enjoy their smiles while preserving their oral health. If you are missing one or more teeth, your dentist may suggest the use of a fixed bridge and dental crowns.
The gap left by a missing tooth can cause the remaining teeth to shift or move. It is important for your oral health to replace the missing tooth or teeth, and fixed bridges are one of the solutions for doing so.
A crown may be recommended for a tooth that has been weakened by decay, fracture or failure of a large, previous restoration. A crown can return the tooth to its original and more natural size and shape. A crown is also recommended on teeth that have under gum Root canal treatment, to prevent fracture of an otherwise weakened tooth.
Are you missing teeth? Maybe you should consider dental implants.
A dental implant is an artificial tooth root that holds a replacement tooth where your own natural tooth once was. Made of titanium, a bio compatible material that fuses naturally to your jawbone, a dental implant permanently replaces the root of the dead, damaged or diseased tooth.
Missing teeth can distract from an otherwise beautiful smile and cause other dental problems that can lead to the loss of even more teeth. If you have missing or badly damaged teeth that make it difficult to chew and embarrassing to smile, dental implants are the permanent solution.
Restore your smile with us, with the most modern and advanced dental techniques and versatile materials that are stronger and long-lasting.
When you want to accessorize your smile or just add a little shine to your smile. Tooth gems can be placed on your teeth to give your that added touch. It is a painless, simple procedure.
White fillings are actually tooth coloured fillings. They are made out of a ceramic and plastic compound and are called composite resin fillings. The composite resin filling material comes in several shades and we use your own tooth colour to pick a matching shade so your filling blends right in.
A removable partial denture replaces multiple missing teeth in either the upper or lower jaw. This replacement of missing teeth is necessary in order to restore your mouth to its original functioning condition and maintain normal facial contour. If a condition of missing teeth is left untreated, the remaining teeth may drift. Drifting teeth can lead to a bad occlusion (bite), additional decay and possible gum and bone problems
Each partial denture is precisely made to fit an individual’s unique situation. It is designed to be removable. The partial denture is held in place with clasps that are comfortably fit around a select few of your remaining teeth. A partial denture is cosmetically designed to hide all metal whenever possible. The artificial teeth and gums are colored to match an individual’s natural teeth and gums.
